Smiths is a marketing agency located in Pittsburgh and works primarily with the clients in the Food Industry. Smiths agency is looking for an enthusiastic, smart-worker who is comfortable working in a fast changing environment. You will join the Senior Media Buyer and be responsible for the day-to-day coordination, execution, and management of media plans.


Work for a dynamic, fun & growing team that loves marketing as much as they love food. The channel team comprises individuals specialized in social platforms, organic channels, programmatic ads & reporting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage client & team expectations regularly ensuring clear communication during client status meetings, timelines, recommending adjustments, creating decks, etc.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives and translate them into digital objectives/strategies
  • Develop relationships with media network; continue to develop platform, publisher, and brand relationships
  • Utilize 3rd party research tools to develop target consumer profiles and identify strategic buying opportunities
  • Manage, maintain, and clearly communicate budget status and considerations.
  • Work with the analytics team to run weekly performance reports for our clients and campaign optimization 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of experience working as a digital media planner or related position in an ad/marketing agency.
  • Passionate about digital in general and media strategy in particular
  • CPG/Food & Beverage experience is a big plus
  • Working knowledge of insertion order buying and manually building, tracking, and managing IOs
  • Strong Excel/Google Slides skills across formulas & pivot tables.
  • Understanding of media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC) and understanding of the utilization and relationship between them
  • Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with outside vendors and clients as well as within the agency
